Jagga Jasoos2/5
2017 · Hindi · DNA
It was meant to be a mega film but it turned out to be a mega mistake. You may go in with an open mind to see India’s first musical film. While it’s true to the genre, eventually the length will make your patience run out.

2017 · Hindi · DNA India
MOM packs a solid punch and deserves a watch for its gritty content and Sridevi's heroic performance.
Tubelight3.5/5
2017 · Hindi · DNA India
...a wannabe Forrest Gump. It gets slow and monotonous after a while. The pace is slow and it drags in parts. The songs are partly to be blamed for slowing the film down. What to do: Watch it for the love of your brother. Or Bhai.

Freaky Ali has flashes of fun but could've been far funnier. Watch it for Nawaz's endearing performance.
Freaky Ali2.5/5
2016 · Hindi · DNA
The humor is what makes the first half of the film fairly engrossing. The second half, which mainly focuses on Alis journey towards winning the championship, is what makes the film dull.

2016 · Hindi · DNA India
Zubaan is lovingly rendered sweet indie film about the spirit of reinvention. Celebrate it.
Aligarh4/5
2016 · Hindi · DNA India
The best part of the film is its utter commitment to Siras' story. We watched silently while an innocent man was victimised just because he was different from us, that's just one more reason to watch this film.
Neerja4/5
2016 · Hindi · DNA India
Neerja is 2016's best film so far and that makes it a must watch. But more importantly, in a country where heroes are easily forgotten, this one's for Neerja Bhanot – the bravest and boldest 23-year-old you've ever known.
Fitoor2.5/5
2016 · Hindi · DNA India
The problem with Fitoor is that it's a love story that is not romantically compelling. The climax seems too rushed – it needed more drama and emotional depth but that's missing.
LoveShhuda2/5
2016 · Hindi · DNA India
Watch it if you must for the lead pair's chemistry and the picturesque tours of London and Mauritius. The rest of it is just ho-hum.

Watch Tamasha because it's beyond the ordinary and for the fantastic screen chemistry of Ranbir and Deepika.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo3.5/5
2015 · Hindi · DNA India
The film is a one-man-show – Salman Khan is almost in every frame of the film in both the roles. As the prince, he remains firm, dignified and regal. As Prem, he is more endearing, funny and down-to-earth.
Shaandaar2/5

It's nowhere close to Warrior. But there's the Akshay-Siddharth on-screen combo, how can you miss that?
Bangistan2/5
2015 · Hindi · DNA India
For a comedy film, 'Bangistan' has very little humour. You go into see a light, funny film but you soon realise this one is too preachy and predictable to achieve that.

2015 · Hindi · DNA India
DDD would've been a lot of fun had it been shorter, crisper and less indulgent.
2015 · Hindi · DNA India
The problem with TWMR is in its sheer dishonesty. If this were an Anees Bazmee brainless comedy, it would still be understandable and acceptable...Despite all its flaws, watch it for the one-woman-show of Kangana Ranaut.

Roy is boring, exhausting and pretentious – save your money and time by staying away.
Hawaizaada3.5/5
2015 · Hindi · DNA India
Hawaizaada is like a picture post-card – watch it for the outstanding effort of a first-time director.
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
Despite having everything going for it, you wonder why they didnt fine-tune the screenplay a bit more. There are logic issues; there are sensibility issues and in a heist film, you cant have that.

. Once you look past the minor hiccups, he delivers a knockout punch. The scale and grandeur of the film is on par with the Dhoom series. The action scenes are brilliantly choreographed.
Filmistaan3.5/5
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
Fresh and funny, this is a small film with a big heart. Shot on a shoe-string budget, and no star power, Filmistaan relies on it's script and its actors to carry the film. And they both do a wonderful job.
Holiday3/5
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
There’s two ways to do an ‘army’ film. one is about war, tragedy and human loss. Another one is to make it like a secret agent/spy thriller.
Heropanti2.5/5
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
Sadly the film doesn’t do justice to both the newcomers. Nothing unique about the screenplay. Ordinary direction. It’s a long time since this kind of lover story has been seen on the screen.
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
What works for Bakrapur is also the reason for its downfall. The idea of using Shah Rukh’s name to create interest fades away in the first half and so do the jokes written around it.

Watch it for the endearing Jackky Bhagnani and the inimitable Farouque Sheikh.
Queen4.5/5
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
Except that I can see women audience relating more to this. It’s not really a chick flick but yes, the actress is the protagonist here, and those films are ‘generally’ not considered commercially viable.
2014 · Hindi · DNA India
The film is titled 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' but it is more about parenthood ke side effects. The second half gets a bit heavy and stretched. But the climax saves the film.

Besharam2/5

This is Ranbir’s experiment to see whether he can successfully do the films that Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have knocked out of the park. Can’t blame him for trying to do something different.
Satyagraha2.5/5
2013 · Hindi · DNA India
The film will make you angry and make you feel helpless, powerlessit’s all too real.. too close home. Which is why he should have done this docudrama style. It would have been more effective and relevant.
Madras Cafe3/5
2013 · Hindi · DNA India
The film bristles with the raw, unnerving textures of a battlefield documentary. What is impressive is the film’s cool restraint. Not once does it attempt to sensationalize, sermonize or take sides.

D-Day3.5/5
2013 · Hindi · DNA India

Dil Bole Hadippa!1.5/5
2009 · Hindi · Mid-Day
Dil Bole Hadippa is a perfect example of how Bollywood can quite shamelessly adapt (read copy) anything from the West and do a decent job. This one's a straight lift of the America teenage comedy She's The Man (2006).
