Jagga Jasoos movie review: what critics say (23)
What critics say Critics are divided: 6 of 23 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 5 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the script, the visuals and the direction. Criticised: the pacing.
This is fine advice, for Basu’s film is not only intricately written and plotted, but filled with clever visual flourishes and details, some of which are clues and some of which are magical – and several, like the elephant…

Read the full reviewJagga Jasoos is only worth a watch for Ranbir Kapoor's class act. As a musical, the film falters on several notes.
Read the full reviewJagga Jasoos brings together a range of quality ingredients, but something has gone wrong in the cooking of it. It is highly engaging up to a point, but needed tighter writing and direction to stay on course.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
