Jab Harry Met Sejal movie review: what critics say (22)
What critics say Critics are largely negative: 2 of 22 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 12 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the performances and the music. Criticised: the direction and the pacing.
First half: breezy but unabashedly banal. Second half: riddled with toe-curling romantic mush. Sum total: a journey without maps that weaves concentric circles around sweet nothings and empty prittle-prattle.

Read the full reviewJab Harry Met Sejal is occasionally funny, but not half as funny or cute or ruminative as it clearly thinks it is.
Read the full reviewThe plot of Jab Harry Met Sejal is just like the ring, the protagonists are searching for - lost. And not even Shah Rukh Khan can save this pointless jaunt through Europe.
Read the full reviewDespite the permanent sense of predictability Jab Harry Met Sejal works albeit only for the first half. The first 70 minutes are like the fun part of a holiday, when you are excited to discover and try new things.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
