Tamasha movie review: what critics say (33)
What critics say Critics are mostly positive with reservations: 15 of 33 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 4 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the script, the emotion and the performances.
I really liked a lot of the second half. Theres so much good stuff going on, including the pair which strays, and then journeys towards each other.
Read the full reviewTamasha doesn't come together satisfactorily, but it's not for a lack of trying. There's a lot to appreciate here, and more than a few moments that'll break your heart.
Read the full reviewIf soul searching and matters beyond your mundane existence intrigue you then Tamasha is the perfect film to watch. Also we need more of RK in our lives I say!
Read the full reviewTamasha is not free of glaring drawbacks. The narrative tends to humour itself to the extent of supreme selfindulgence and the pace when Deepika goes missing, is languid.
Read the full reviewDespite the flaws, the film is full of mad charm and is all heart. Tamasha is an incredible spectacle of a movie, to be experienced, not merely viewed.
Read the full reviewIn all, Tamasha is vintage wine. There are inhibitions that keep you from falling head-over-heels in love with the film the first time you watch it. Once done away with the initial hesitation, Tamasha is an experience.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
