The short answer
Uncle Ken killed Nagaland politician Jonathan Thom, after learning that Kapil Reddy had set him up. Daniel Acho helped him behead the body and kill others who threatened the summit. Hathiram (Jaideep Ahlawat) kills Daniel but decides not to expose the truth, because the summit’s success helps many people.
What happens to Daniel?
He ambushes Hathiram in the town square. Hathiram survives and kills him in a hotel kitchen.
What happens to Rose and Raghu?
Rose Lizo dies in hospital. Hathiram learns that Raghu Paswan, the missing man whose case started the season, was killed by his roommates after he lent them a rickshaw to help Rose escape.
What is the money at the end?
A torn note from Thom’s purse leads Hathiram to Rs 2 crore held by a hawala operator. He takes only Rs 5 lakh, the amount Rose had promised Raghu, and gives it to Raghu’s son before the train leaves. Hathiram has quit the force. He walks away smiling.
What is left open?
Kapil Reddy and Uncle Ken face no consequences on screen. That is the point: as in season 1, the truth is known to Hathiram and buried by the system. All he can fix is one family’s loss.
Will there be season 3?
Amazon has not announced it.
