Ranaut and a few clever lines keep the film watchable, until the third act where the script sadistically starts piling misfortune on the character to ratchet up the dramatic tension.
Read the full reviewBased loosely on the story of the Bombshell Bandit - Punjabi girl Sandeep Kaur, Simran could either be a great comic caper or a tragic story of greed gone wrong. It's neither.

Read the full reviewSimran is not a bad film but having no coherence of its genre, it might fall. It is certainly a one time watch.
Read the full reviewKangana's Queen made you want to fly to Amsterdam right from the theatre. There is nothing that you want to do after Simran, save go back home. Watch the film if you swear by Kangana Ranaut.

Read the full reviewThe first half of the movie casts a spell as you travel with Praful on her misadventures. In the second half, Mehta falls for the usual traps. But there’s more reason to celebrate Simran than diss it.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
