Kill Dil movie review: This isn't one of those films that slides after a promising start. This begins badly, plods away the way it began, and ends worse.
Read the full reviewKill/Dil is eventually the kind of lightweight effort watchable not for its content, but because you see the makers enjoying themselves. We admire the way they laugh, not the joke they laugh at.
Read the full reviewKil Dil doesn't have weight or enduring value. But while it lasts, Shaad makes sure you're having a good time.
Kill Dil has random songs, birdbrained logic and a romance thats about as exciting as toothpaste. Seriously, even the on-going season of Bigg Boss has more meat than this half-cooked turkey of a script.
Read the full reviewAfter the three-hour torture, I have a better name for the film, KILL ME!!!!!!
Read the full reviewYou may watch Kill Dil only if you are a fan of any of the actors. I would say, let it pass.
Read the full review'Kill/Dil' flirts with the idea of having rotten men as its lead pair. It even seems to enjoy their bloody bonhomie. But it chickens out. What a shame! And what a waste!
Read the full reviewFor the cast, and a few interesting moments, and the stylistic treatment (that often goes overboard), this one's an ok watch. That's if you're up for a cliched story packaged a little differently.
Read the full reviewI went in with too much expectations came out disappointed. So if you're planning to watch this film at all then don't expect anything and maybe you won't regret walking into the theater!
Read the full reviewI have to admit Kill/Dil is a smaller disaster than Gunday.Ranveer who played one of the two buddies in the earlier films as well, is far more entertaining here. He's still way over the top.But here he is hammy in a pleasant way.
Read the full reviewIf you enjoy killer dialogues and silly jokes, Kill/Dil is the perfect movie for the weekend. Otherwise, you can give this one a miss.
Read the full reviewThere's not a lot of praise one can heap on 'Kill Dil' except to say that it's not an unwatchable film. The first hour goes by briskly, and you'll even find yourself smiling along. If that's enough for you, give it a shot.
Read the full reviewOne thing is sure; it will kill your dil and dimaag. Enter at your own risk.
Read the full reviewThere is dil, dosti, paisa and pyaar in this tale, but not a single moment of emotional connect that you can establish with the story or the characters.
Read the full reviewStory lines like Kill Dil had started losing their charm 30+ years ago. I am still not able to get over the fact that Shaad Ali and team, couldn't add one new angle to make it look like a product for and by the next generation.
Read the full reviewInitially the film opens on a decent note but very quickly goes downhill and never recovers. The plot has neither any logic nor sense or conviction.
Read the full reviewWith style trumping over substance, Kill Dil fails to win over our hearts. We wish we got a better story line and more of Govinda!
Read the full reviewThe title is borrowed from Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill. That homage somewhat plays out in the background score sometimes. I suspect Indian filmmakers' intense love for Tarantino comes from their shared fondness for kitsch.
Read the full reviewBy Bollywood standards, the movie has enough fodder to hook and book you to your seats for two hours. Three stars for `Kill Dil`! And if you are a movie-buff then go home humming `kakakakaka ..Kill Kill....dadada Dill Dil...`!
Read the full reviewHeres a ghisa pita story so predictable that you could sleep through the middle of it and still not miss a point But then at places, some scenes have been handled in a delightfully novel manner that you rub your sleepy eyes in…
Read the full reviewThe first half of the film is very entertaining but post interval it’s a bit slow. The end could have been much better but looks like it was all wrapped up in a rush. Even after all the little flaws Kill Dil is a good watch!
Read the full reviewA stylishly shot and neatly packaged action caper, Kill Dil could have been a killer film. It isn’t.

Read the full reviewRanveer Singh’s lovable character is the saving grace of this regurgitated tale of guns and romance
Read the full reviewKill Dil is not a bad film, it's a badly made film. With such sincere actors, the film lacks a distinct soul, killing it's intensity scene by scene, frame by frame by adding frills.
Read the full reviewShaad Ali’s Kill Dil is inspired by countless Hollywood movies that showcase the protagonists romancing the gun. There is enough pizzazz to divert you from the cliched plot.
Read the full reviewOn the whole, Kill/Dil has an enjoyable first half but a dull second half. At the box-office, it will not be able to do much and will exhaust its run quite fast.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
