I like young Dhawan. I enjoy his work in movies as disparate as Badlapur and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, but in Judwaa 2 he isn’t allowed to do his own thing. Instead, he’s trying to match a marvellously inane Salman Khan performance.

Read the full reviewVarun can do action, comedy, romance, dance, look queer, yet in all of these it's also very apparent that he's faking it, pretending.

Read the full reviewJudwaa 2 is louder and bigger and bolder and Varun Dhawan may not be Salman Khan, but he holds his own, both as Prem and Raja. Fun watch for the younger generation.
Read the full review...even Varun Dhawan 's high-octane performance which includes many digs at the film industry can't hide how David Dhawan's idea of funny is loud, sexist, mostly cringe-worthy and frankly too outdated.
Read the full reviewThere was an innocence and naivete that Salman Khan and director David Dhawan brought to the admittedly pedestrian plot involving a pair of lookalike twins separated at birth. But the same ideas feel jaded now.
Read the full reviewJudwaa 2 is not a great comedy but it is an engaging entertainer with some laughs and a sort of warm goofiness.
Read the full reviewJudwaa 2 introduces the millennial to a gem from the 90s. Amid crazy pointless debates of feminism and empowerment, we must revisit these gems from yesteryears so that we can remind our current generations that it’s ok, it’s…

Read the full reviewYou won't be missing much if you miss Judwaa 2. It certainly doesn't do justice to the original film and is definitely not one of the best performances from Varun Dhawan.
Read the full reviewI'd like to state upfront that I am clearly not a part of this film's target audience because I've never liked slapstick. But over the years, I have realised the core of why I don't like them.
While still on the plane, Raja finds himself fondling passengers, his actions dictated by his proximity to Prem (who’s playing piano).
Read the full reviewJudwaa 2, like the original, isn't a piece of art, in fact it's mediocre, but it's that one film which may lift your mood. At 149-minutes, this slapstick comedy has some really laugh-worthy moments.

Read the full reviewAll said and done, I conclude by recollecting the scene from the movie's climax where Salman khan makes his grand cameo in a double role.
After eons comes a Hindi film that relooks at hallowed time-tested genres that gave Hindi cinema some of its biggest classics.
Judwaa 2 is a lot of unadulterated old-school fun. Watch it for its brazen humour and Varun Dhawan's spectacular act.
Read the full reviewOverall, this David Dhavan film is a worth watch if you aren't finding loopholes as what's happening.
When you enter the movie hall for this outing, remember to let your hair down and guffaw because from the opening scene itself you’re familiar with the tropes. Lame lyrics, loud gags and leggy lasses never really hurt anyone.

Read the full reviewAs mentioned earlier, the script of Judwaa 2 offers nothing new in terms of the story or situations. All the characters from Judwaa have been recreated and re-played by new ones.
Read the full reviewFor a comedy whose plot would make a wafer look thin, the lines have to be razor sharp, and delivered in just the right rhythm.
Read the full reviewThe crux of the story is the same as that of the old Judwaa. Although there is no logic in the story, it is made up of so many funny incidents and anecdotes that it keeps the audience in good spirits. On the whole, Judwaa 2 is a…

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
