Any film that does not demonize, that talks of peace and brotherhood, in these dark, cynical times, is to be lauded. Mulk is Anubhav Sinhas best film, and it concerns us all. It makes me want to cheer. Out loud.
Read the full reviewMulk, though, is a reminder that we are all part of that courtroom. Being surprised is a condescending emotion – and inherently a product of our own preconceived notions.
Read the full reviewAt the heart Mulk is a fearless spirit that is a far cry from the abject timidity of Bollywood, an industry that believes in upholding the status quo even if it threatens to endanger the precious pluralistic ethos that lies at…
Read the full reviewMulk isn't original cinema, it's not even its own film, but it's a much needed reminder and lesson that we live in a secular nation, something that we always strive for.
Read the full reviewAnd as I walked away from Mulk, marvelling at its crackling drama, high emotional quotient, its gritty appeal, whistle-worthy dialogues and politics, after a long time I doffed my hat to Bollywood.

Read the full reviewThis film takes an important step in defining terrorism and underlining the differences between a suspect and a criminal. It succeeds in intent and purpose, but sadly fails when it comes to storytelling.

Read the full reviewMulk is worth a watch because it focuses on some pivotal issues of the day.

Read the full review"Mulk" is a sensitively told sensitizing film that should strike the right note in people with the right sensibilities. In its own way, it is no less patriotic than a "Pad-Man," "Raazi," "Raid" or "Parmanu."
All said and done, Mulk is one such film that will hold your guts till the end. It'll pinch your soul hard & question your humanity.
Read the full reviewFirst of all, it is very hard to believe that Anubhav Sinha whose earlier credits include fluff stuff like Tum Bin and Ra.One, has actually created this modern political masterpiece which attempts very successfully to humanise a…
Shot in the bylanes of small town India, the film captures the milieu it is set in aptly. The music is the weakest link and the soaring and melodramatic background score in some portions is distracting.
Read the full reviewOn the whole, Mulk is a purposeful entertainer and has the potential to do fair business but its dull start and the dual oppositions of Fanney Khan and Karwaan this week will tell on its business.
Read the full reviewAs if to rival the ‘No is a sentence’ rhetoric of PINK, Anubhav Sinha, in Mulk, presents an ‘Us Vs Them’ monologue that wants to scream at those who see Muslims as ‘the other’ — those in the courtroom who laugh deliriously when…

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
