I M 24 Movie Review
31 Aug 2012
What we know
Saying the truth was always difficult, and lying, they say, is much simpler. Shubendu lives by the tougher option. But when this honest, 42 year old balding writer falls in love with a 22 year old beauty queen, he is tempted to lie. What's more, his jerk of a roommate, Gagan, who swears by the magic of lies, helps him cook up stories. What follows is a hilarious ride of lies, cover-ups, goof-ups and contradicting tales. Shubendu begins enjoying this ride. Why didn't he know that lying was so much fun?! But at some point, the madness has got to stop. The question is: When? This Saurabh Shukla directed romantic comedy will touch all hearts, both young and old.

I M 24 movie review: what critics say (4)
What critics say Critics are largely negative: 0 of 4 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 3 gave it 2 or less.
Critic Score appears after 5 rated reviews. 4 of 5 so far.
The film tries very hard to critique Bollywood cliches but ends up being one.
Read the full reviewWhen it comes to Saurabh Shukla, all you expect is a light-hearted story with a few chuckles thrown in here and there. That’s precisely what I M 24 is. Well, at least for the first half of the film.
With a bit of truth, a bit of lies, part spoof, part-real, Saurabh Shukla spins this romcom with witty one-liners, few hilarious scenes, good comic timing, a lot energy (sometimes excessive).

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give one star's films 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
