There is a Piyush Mishra hiding inside this big, bad, loud and messy Bollywood blockbuster, that one thought one had left a couple of decades behind.
Read the full reviewThese arent stumbling blocks for Malhotra who wants, more than anything, to create a big screen extravaganza. There are inventively staged set-pieces in Shamshera where he succeeds, especially in the first half.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
