Ludo Movie Review

In an early scene in the film, a song from the 1951 blockbuster Albela is playing on a television set. Bhagwan, in a chefs outfit, is pondering on qismat ki hawa which can sometimes be naram and sometimes garam.

Priyanka Chopra has watched Anurag Basu’s recently released film Ludo and from her Instagram post we can conclude that she has thoroughly enjoyed the film. The actress wrote a short note praising the director and the team of Ludo.

One of the male characters in Ludo admits to his friends: “Kuch rishton mein logic nahi hota, sirf magic hota hai.” Absolutely!

Still, in this time of corona, the virus finding an honourable mention in the movie, we could do with some fun and games, even if it slackens in bits.

If only Ludo too would live up to the promise of its zany premise.’Ludo is life. Life is Ludo,’ spouts Basu in its opening scene.

Performances, writing, music, cinematography, editing pick anything you want, everything works in making this a complete package.All said and done, Ludo gets closest to the definition of a perfect film.
