Khamoshiyan Movie Review

The buri aatma gets its chance to keep the make-up artists busy, and to give us a couple of frights. But, as always, Bollywood cant really get serious about horror, because it needs to shove in a song at that very moment.

Khamoshiyan is so consumed by its cheesy scares-s**-scares-s** pattern, the upshot is tacky and unintentionally hilarious.

How long can you watch three good-looking people doing the dumbest of things in the misguided hope that they would scare you with their propensity to think with their private parts in public places.

If you are a Gurmeet Choudhary fan you will be disappointed, so I'd suggest you skip the movie and wait for the actor's next film. According to me, the movie lacks soul i.e. the story, barring which it makes for a decent watch.

Khamoshiyan makes you shiver. But not in fear. It just makes you shake in embarrassment for all the ghosts and spirits who are so royally snubbed and insulted by such travesties of terror.

Vikram Bhatt, the writer of ‘Khamoshiya’ badly needs to think of an outrageous plot for his next, because his movies are no longer as scary as it used to be once.
