Devara: Part 1 movie review: what critics say (19)
What critics say Critics are divided: 2 of 18 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 2 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the performances, the action and the emotion.
Unable to fully lure us into its furore or make sense of its ambiguity, the curse of the sequel relying on the first one to succeed is fast setting a worrying precedent of fragmented filmmaking.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
