Boss movie review: what critics say (22)
What critics say Critics are divided: 2 of 22 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 11 gave it 2 or less. Criticised: the music, the script and the action.
Within a few minutes of the opening, I knew this is one of those flicks you can watch with your ears. Dhadaak, khachhaak, crrruunch, thapppadd, dhachhaak. And krrrrich, bhadaang, dhadaam.

Read the full reviewThe bad news is that Boss is essentially a cartoon designed to deify Akshay Kumar, so eventually the storyline must surrender to set-piece comedy and action sequences and absolutely forgettable songs that celebrate the mighty…

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
