Arjun Patiala movie review: what critics say (8)
What critics say Critics are largely negative: 0 of 8 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 8 gave it 2 or less. Criticised: the performances and the script.
The only tolerable scenes are the ones between the screenwriter (Abhishek Banerjee) and the producer (Pankaj Tripathi).
Read the full reviewWith not a plausible storyline, poor jokes overflow, and even the actors are given a free rein with little effort.
Read the full reviewDiljit Dosanjh is affable but profoundly bland as Arjun Patiala. Varun Sharma as Arjun's side-kick Onida and Kriti Sanon as Ritu Randhawa are tolerable.
Read the full reviewArjun Patiala is designed as a movie-within-a-movie, a satire on ridiculousness of cinematic clich©s and done-to-death genres, with cop films as its area of focus.
Read the full reviewKriti in a sari looks as ravishing as Sushmita Sen in Main Hoon Na. And she’s just as good an actor. Ronit Roy, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Suman Pahwa are fantastic!

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
