What critics say Critics are divided: 0 of 6 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 1 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the performances. Criticised: the script.
418 has the basic ingredients required for a good horror film. However, the team struggles to turn an interesting idea into a suspenseful narrative.
Read the full review418, the Prashanth Neel-presented horror thriller, fails to honour this, other than in its middle act that the rest of the film does not deserve. It is not a bad horror film but a frustrating one.
Read the full reviewUltimately, it engages the audience largely thanks to Chaithra J Achar, but the story lacks the intrigue to make it a highly effective horror film.
Read the full reviewThe film relies heavily on jump scares and sound design to unsettle the audience, with a predictable storyline that prevents it from reaching its full potential.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give one star's films 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
