Youth movie review: what critics say (7)
What critics say Critics are divided: none of the 6 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 1 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the performances, the direction and the music. Criticised: the emotion.
This brutal, hilarious new show about life as a fiftysomething is full of all the heart and humour of human life. At points it’s mesmerisingly perfect

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
