Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi movie review: what critics say (18)
What critics say Critics are mostly positive with reservations: 8 of 18 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 3 gave it 2 or less. Praised: the visuals. Criticised: the script.
As promised, Manikarnika does tick all the nationalistic boxes. It is getting a perfectly-timed Republic Day release. And there are plenty of eye-roll moments as it chases the red-faced Brits, and raises the flag.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
