Ghani movie review: what critics say (6)
What critics say Critics are divided: none of the 5 rated critics gave it 3.5 or more, 1 gave it 2 or less. Criticised: the script and the pacing.
A more refreshed take be it the love story or the mother-son conflict, and more amped out drama (with a few tweaks) during the sports segments would have made Ghani a lot better than what it is currently.

Read the full reviewDespite all the sporting action, the film gets talk heavy. At one point, when one character smirks at another for being a better talker than a sportsman, it elicits laughs..
Read the full reviewSports dramas require inspiring moments when the protagonist plays the match, but here all we see is only a repeat of punches that dont give an emotional high.

How is the fan score worked out?
It is a Fair Score, not a plain average. Votes from brand new accounts, accounts that have rated only one film, several votes from one network, sudden bursts, and accounts that only ever give 1 or 5 stars count for less. A few early ratings cannot swing it. Nothing is hidden: we show the star bars above.
